Meadow Spike Moss is a beautiful rare relative of fern which looks like moss. It is a hardy plant if the soil is not dried out completely and kept moist.

Selaginella gets some moisture, the leaves open up, turn green, and the plant starts to grow again. This is why the  Selaginella lepidophyllagets is called the “Resurrection Plant.”
